The Friendly Neighborhood TimeBank was started in 2012 with three main goals:
Serving South Sound Communities
The Hour4Hour Time Exchange strengthens our communities through the existing informal support systems of family, neighborhood and individuals by creating and facilitating a network of service exchanges among members. We have expanded our service area to include members in Lewis and Pierce counties as well as Thurston County.
RABC and Hour4Hour Time Exchange
We joined with one of our member organizations the Rainier Historical Society on helping to get the library floor restored. We have supported the RABC and their food bank and thrift store as well. We engage in community projects to better our community and support each other by the exchange of timebank hours. .
Your Timebank Needs Your Help!
We are in need of presenters (for community orientations), members to help with set-up/take down at orientations, and administrative help for coordinators. Grant writer and fundraising to support the timebank operations. Thanks for helping us in serving our community.
